Imagine we can deploy small nuclear energy reactors, discovering efficient materials for carbon capture, and intelligence inspired by the human brain. Breakthroughs are born from bold ideas, applied science, and the courage to experiment beyond convention.

Scientific progress is the true catalyst for a better future. Applied science, packaged into next-generation materials, nuclear reactors, and intelligent algorithms, sparks imagination & awe that we desperately need to see of what's possible. As intelligence advances faster than anyone expected, we will accelerate the discovery and product development process, enabling us to answer the existential questions about science and human nature at timelines previously unimaginable. They create a compounding effect that leads to advances in society.

Discoveries can have a lasting impact for decades with long-term commitment, the proper infrastructure, and patient capital. To bring this into the world, mission-driven companies are the engines to turn this technology into economic prosperity. But we forgot how to make Apollo projects real.

While the best societies thrive on open trade, high-quality education, and the free flow of ideas, with strong financial systems, we’ve turned inward. We're trying to compete nationally against compounding 5-year plans to promote battery and solar cell manufacturing, while focusing on achieving the best work-life balance instead of moving quickly to compete.

During World War II, the first computer cracked the Enigma code, the Manhattan Project produced the first nuclear energy, and rockets achieved supersonic flight within six years. Our development speed has slowed down since then, weighed down by lengthy procurement processes, overspecifying designs, and slow-moving institutions with a disconnect between public & private bodies. We have fallen behind, forgotten how to manufacture world-class products. The "Made in X" strategies are, by definition, a sign of falling behind. Regulations for safety slow down the pace at which critical technologies are deployed.

We should pursue ambitious goals as a moral compass to drive societal progress, with purpose-built systems at a software pace, for rusty old markets that are ready to be revitalized, guided by emerging science, and built by generalist-expert driven teams. We need to launch ARPA-type projects driven by emerging science with 10-year committed horizons, build the necessary infrastructure with governments & corporates that have patient capital, and re-learn how to make these things real. By creating first products, from 3D designs & simulations to light-coded prototypes, we de-risk the product and accelerate the path to launch so you can turn it into customers' hands.

STAGE 3

We uncover your customers' deep needs, then grow the team with experts.

We use a systematic search to identify launching customers and uncover their needs for key features. We conduct market sizing, validate demand, and engage in interviews. Pilot agreements are written to drive product delivery toward revenue. These are nimble, milestone-based contracts that demonstrate the product's need and drive the next revenue milestone.

The first hires set the tone, drive the pace of development, and determine the timeline to market. But the engineers who build should also be the ones who work closely with customers. They experiment with products, determine how they function, and select key features. We identify the existential risks associated with your mission and then search for the best candidates to join you in addressing those.
